Institutional Development Plan

Shri Krishna University is an affiliate of Late Shri Balvir Singh Gautam Shiksha Prasad and Jankalyan Samiti. This Society was registered in the year 2008. Within a very short span of time, the society made a good name and fame in the field of higher education and had opened 78 colleges and 2 universities.

Shri Krishna University was started in the year of 2018 with 12 faculties. The mission of the university was wholehearted development of the students and to give its contribution in socio-economic development of Bundelkhand region. Now the university is running 14 faculties and 34 departments in a state-of-the-art infrastructure. Shri Krishna University is growing rapidly and is committed to giving its contribution in the mission of Developed India, 2047.

Strategic Academic Accreditations & Recognitions

The Institutional Development Plan for the next 5 years is as under: The University is planning to file an application for obtaining 2F & 12B status. The university is also planning to submit data in NIRF and undergo the NAAC Accreditation process.

New Academic Programs

From the session 25-26, the University is starting the Faculty of Ayurveda, in which the B.A.M.S. Program will be introduced. The University has already established an equipped hospital where patients are getting proper treatment and care. The University is also starting a Bachelor of Fashion Designing Program and Bachelor of Animation & Multimedia Program from the session 25-26.

Research Initiatives

Research is the need of the day. Considering this fact, the University has started a seed money scheme to promote research. During the last session, a seed money of 38 lakhs was given to various research projects. Besides technical development, another objective of research is to study socio-economic problems of Bundelkhand and find solutions. The Faculty of Ayurveda, in consultation with the Pharmacy Department, is developing a large medicinal garden with herbal medicinal plants.

Innovations in Agriculture and Environment

With the increase in population, a scarcity of agricultural land is observed. Considering this problem, the University has started a project on hydroponics to minimize the use of land in agriculture. In the Bundelkhand area, water scarcity is a concern, so the University has initiated rainwater harvesting plants within the campus.

National & International Collaborations

The University has already signed research and academic MOUs with many organizations, and more are in the pipeline. The University has signed an MOU with Cambridge Assessment English (Part of the University of Cambridge, UK). Under this collaboration, we are planning to start faculty development programs and organize conferences. The University is also planning to sign more MOUs with international organizations and will start twinning programs, joint degree, and dual degree programs.

Industry Linkages

The University has signed various MOUs with industries. Students are regularly sent to these industries for training purposes. The University is planning to sign new MOUs as well.

Preserving Indian Culture and Traditional Knowledge

To give a touch of Indian culture and to make students familiar with rich Indian traditions, the University is starting many diploma and certificate courses in Astrology, Numerology, Science of Architecture (Vastushastra), Vedic Mathematics, etc. The University is signing MOUs with renowned organizations to fulfill this objective.

Training & Placement Cell

The ultimate objective of a student is to get good placement. The University has a well-established training and placement cell. This cell organizes training sessions for the students and helps them in obtaining suitable placements. The University is further strengthening this department with an objective of 100% placement for our students.

Alumni Network

The University has a wide network of alumni. These alumni help the students by providing training, delivering guest lectures, and assisting current students in finding suitable jobs. The University is planning to further strengthen the alumni network.

Earn While You Learn Program

To make students financially stable, the University is planning to start an "Earn while you learn" program in the near future.

Digital & Green Campus Initiatives

The University is planning complete digitalization within the campus and will introduce a paperless atmosphere. We are also planning to introduce a zero waste program on the University campus.

Energy Conservation and Sustainability

Energy is the need of the day, so we should produce more energy and also take measures to conserve it. Realizing this, the University has installed a solar plant on the campus. The University is also planning to become grid-independent. To achieve this, we will increase power generation using solar energy.

Skill Development

The University will become a part of the National Skill Development Corporation and will train our students in various skills.
